DOT FIFTYONE – January 7 –January 28, 2006 Land Escape – art visions beyond boundaries.
Dot Fiftyone Art Space gallery, located in Miami's Wynwood Art & Design District, announces the opening of the international art exhibition: “Land Escape – art visions beyond boundaries” as part of the ART MIAMI 2006 celebrations. This exhibit features 11 (eleven) international artists interpreting their own countries landscaping, in ways that are at times unexpected, unsettling, poetic, political and lyrical, but without doubt original.
The list of participating artists whose works will be featured in “Land Escape, art visions beyond boundaries” are: Mauro Giaconi (Argentina), Nati Shamia-Opher (Israel, who received critical acclaim at Art Basel Miami Beach 2004), Arnaldo Rosello (USA), Leslie Galbadon (Venezuela), Lori Riess (USA), Miriam Cabbessa (Morroco), Orit Hofshi (Israel), Marjorie Weiss (USA), Orly Maiberg (Israel) and Maluchi Vivar (Ecuador / Italy).
This exhibition will mark one of the Wynwood Art District main art celebration events honoring Art Miami 2006 .
Dot Fiftyone Art Space will be participating also with its own booth (# 704 Currents Section) at Art Miami 2006 , to take place at Miami Beach Convention Center, January 5 trough January 9. Featuring the recent works from the artists: Leonel Matheu, Mauro Giaconi, Liliane Eberle Bouquet, Febe Defelipe, Natalie Silva and Armando Romero.
“Land Escape – art visions beyond boundaries”, Cocktail Opening Reception to honor the exhibition artists and Art Miami Participating Galleries : Saturday January 7th, 8 PM to Midnight.
Art Miami's Shuttle buses will depart the Convention Center on Saturday January 7th at 8pm to the Wynwood Art District. Free Wynwood maps will be available at the district galleries for locations.
